Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a business initiative developed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This program aims to strengthen international supply chains and improve United States border security. The date of C-TPAT implementation was April 16, 2002.
